AG Neovo's V-10 Called in as Showcase for Bombay Sapphire Designer Glasses

At the just-ended Bombay Sapphire Designer Glass Competition Taiwan, AG Neovo offered three V-10s for demonstrating works making it to the winning list. This innovative device, an elegantly crafted digital photo frame, proved a perfect medium for putting on display the fine glasses from different angles in a nonstop slideshow.

The Taiwan competition is a prelude to the global event held each April in Milan, Italy to seek out excellence among emerging design talent around the world. The aim is to design a functional cocktail glass inspired by the Bombay Sapphire brand.

In the Taiwan event this year, the first prize goes to Eternity, a joint brainchild of three youngsters from the National Taiwan University of Arts. Next it will join whimsically conjured-up glasses from other parts of the world in Milan, the world's capital of design, for the selection of a winner who will walk away with a grand prize of US$15,000 next spring.

The V-10s made a presence at Bombay Sapphire Taiwan mainly for demonstrating the glasses designed by a handful of VIPs who were invited to add an extra touch of glamour to the gala. In particular, this proud offering from AG Neovo is directly put on the shelf for displaying the piece envisioned by Jeff Shi, founder of the renowned DragonFly Gallery, as his glass is conceptual rather than physical.

"The Bombay Sapphire competition is all about innovation, elegance and quality," says Yvonne Chou, Assistant Brand Manager of Bombay Sapphire's Taiwan agent Caldbecks Ltd. "The V-10 is a perfect platform for putting just that before our eyes."
