AG Neovo Unveils New PID Command & Control Application to Simplify Display Management

“Where the PID Command & Ctrl software shines is in its ability to allow users to access many common controls remotely, which is especially helpful when managing and maintaining large-scale installations.”

New PID Command & Ctrl

AG Neovo recently announced a new version of its AG Neovo PID Command & Ctrl, a software application that allows users to control, configure, and test AG Neovo Public Information Displays (PN/PD/QM/PM/RX/QX Series) via LAN or RS232 connections.

The All-in-One Display Control Solution

Over the simple, intuitive interface, both the technician and the average user can remotely manage large-scale digital signage installations. Single or multiple on-screen-display settings can be controlled via a PC or mobile device—users can perform actions like powering devices on or off, adjusting brightness, checking temperatures, or setting IR and key locking options, and so on.

For complicated setups like a video wall, the UniWall™ feature of the PID Command & Ctrl gives users the ability to quickly configure video walls of sizes up to 5x5, all without additional equipment. And configuration is quick—just go to the UniWall™ matrix to set the number of rows and columns and assign the correct position to each display.

PID Command & Ctrl also shows commands exchanged between software and display, giving integrators an easy way to find the command codes they need when programming into external control systems.

Control in the Palm of your Hand

The core idea of PID Command & Ctrl is easy, remote control of displays that gives users a bevy of useful functionality. “Where the PID Command & Ctrl software shines is in its ability to allow users to access many common controls remotely, which is especially helpful when managing and maintaining large-scale installations,” says Francisco Garcia, AG Neovo Product Manager.
