The ER-19’s superb colour reproduction makes it a fully competent tool for even the most demanding surgical procedures, such as O.R. for laparoscopy, gastro scope, cystroscope, vaginoscope, metroscope, thoracoscope, orthopedics, and urology.
Fitted with a full 8-bit digital video signal processor and a high-clarity SXGA (1280 x1024) panel with a 5:4 aspect ratio, the ER-19 delivers an exceptionally high level of accurate, natural gradations of reproduction in each primary colour (red, green, blue), brightness, and contrast to meet the surgeon's visualisation in an optimised image. Further, there is a Monochrome Switch feature that allows it to reproduce the original colour image as a grayscale rendition when receiving all kinds of signals.
Equipped with adjustable gamma values, the ER-19 features a 12-bit look-up table capable of reproducing more precise, natural gradation in displaying colour images. Its OSD menu also offers user-adjustability of hue, saturation, contrast, brightness, and sharpness. In particular, the "Blue Only" feature makes possible fine-tuning of such settings as phase (hue) and chroma (saturation).
Thanks to its input/output versatility, the ER-19 makes available wider flexibility and expandability to be configured for specific endoscopic video connectivity requirements. Further, its built-in SD-SDI capability enables the ER-19 to transmit signals over a long distance of up to 200 meters without data loss or compression. As such, it is indisputably an ideal interface for real-time surgical training programs, broadcast video applications, and video medical conferences.
Equally important for an endoscopy LCD display is its capacity for withstanding damage from constant exposure to an extremely challenging environment. Designed specifically to avoid the ingress of chemicals, contaminants, splash, dust, or other substances, the fan-less ER-19 is built with AG Neovo's proprietary NeoV Optical Glass technology that not only protects the screen from damage but also helps enhance display quality, durability, and viewing comfort.
